In addition to the federal holiday on Tuesday, July 4, 2023, the offices of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Western District of Virginia will be closed on Monday, July 3, 2023, in observance of Independence Day. CM/ECF will continue to be available for electronic filings and drop boxes at the Harrisonburg, Lynchburg, and Roanoke courthouses will be available for paper filings on July 3rd. There are no court hearings presently scheduled on July 3, 2023, in the Western District of Virginia; however, if an emergency hearing is required the parties should contact the presiding judge’s chambers to schedule any hearing that might be necessary.
